    A flatshare is when two or more people live in the same flat or apartment. Each tenant has their own bedroom and share the other rooms in the property, such as the bathroom, kitchen and living room. A flatshare can also be known as a HMO (House in Multiple Occupation).

    This is why most people flatshare. The rent is split along with all other costs, such as energy bills, council tax, water etc. Deposit requirements are also lower compared to a 1-bedroom flat.
