School catchment areas in Willesden Green
Schools that are controlled by the local authority follow the new Catchment Area Priority rules introduced by Brent council in 2016.
The rules state that children living in the school catchment area will be given priority over those who do not. Siblings of those already living in the catchment area will be given first refusal, followed by everyone else within the zone. Siblings of existing pupils living outside the catchment area will be given next priority, with all other applicants that live outside of the catchment area given the lowest priority.
Go to the Brent council website to enter your postcode and find out which school is closest to your address.
Please be aware that living in a catchment area will not guarantee your child a place at the school you apply for. There are a number of factors that go into the decision making process, although, the vast majority of secondary applicants that applied in 2018/19 were accepted by each school.
Admission rules can change, so it is helpful to keep updated depending on which year you are applying.
